TRINITY CHURCH SESQUICENTENNIAL

Beginning in the Fall of 2012, we will celebrate the 150th anniversary of the construction of our Carpenter Gothic Church. There are an extraordinary number of events planned throughout the year, in a great variety, so please go our Sesquicentennial page for updates on those!

WOMEN'S FELLOWSHIP GROUP, Tuesdays, 9:15-11 AM - Parish Library

This year we’re studying Genesis—the creation stories, Adam and Eve, Noah and the Flood, Abraham and his descendants. Many of these stories help form the building blocks of our own culture and we’ll explore their main themes through the lenses of art, history, women, literature, and current issues in our own society. The group is led by Mother Dawn and Pat Spoor. For more info, contact Charlotte Bartol: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Trinity Book Club

In 2012-2013 we will meet a variety of contemporary, international authors whose writings reflect different points in their nations’ histories. Our first meeting will be Wednesday, Sept. 5, at 6:30 PM in the Parish Library. Come at 6 PM with a brown bag dinner. Discussion begins promptly at 6:30.

For those who wish to get a start on the reading, our September selection is The God of Small Things by Arundhati Roy. A complete list of selected books can be found here or in the next Spire. Please join us. Everyone is welcome. For further information, contact, Mother Dawn, This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
